This canoe is for people who love history and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into making a handmade birch bark canoe. My husband and I are 2nd owners of this exquisite canoe made by Hafeman Boatworks in northern MN. We purchased it from a wilderness photographer in upstate NY in the Adirondack Park in 2014. While we used it on our lake about 4 or 5 times, it became a show piece in our home. We have since moved to Ohio and are downsizing and would like to pass this on to someone who shares our love of canoes and their unique history. The Chippewa Long Nose is 16ft L x 12" D x 3ft W and weighs about 55lbs. It has no seats and is designed for kneeling. It is being stored in a temperature controlled room. 1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
