Business/Channel Development Manager

Description
This person is responsible for development and implementation of business strategies targeting down channel customers and influencers. This would include but not be limited to, contractors, utilities, homeowners/landlords, building managers and government agencies. This person will coordinate activities of the team across the business unit and functional areas to ensure successful product launch and adoption. Also, coordinates across the broader ComRes organization to maximize opportunities and access platform talent and resources.
Responsibilities
Identify, analyze and prioritize business opportunities beyond the traditional OEM model
Develop business models for new and existing products that maximize potential sales
Develop VOC down channel beyond the traditional A/C OEMs
Coordinate with customer experience, regulatory affairs and utilities experts across ComRes
Drive marketing support for identified new business opportunities
Conduct market and competitive product analysis for down channel business models
Prepare customer presentations, pricing proposals/models and other sales tools
Develop product value analysis, margin analysis and price positioning

Requirements
Basic
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Engineering, technology field or related major plus (5) years' experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to network and develop relationships both inside and outside the organization
Preferred
MBA or relevant MS preferred
Business development experience
