Import / Export Staff
SUMMARY
The operator coordinates freight for import and export between USA and overseas especially USA to Mexico and invoicing.
Request and create quotations for truck transportation, air or ocean import and export, Consistent with our quality requirements and scheduling objectives.
Follow-up on any delayed shipments, report status to management, and send updates to customers daily.
Ensure timely resolution of quality issues with customers, vendors and suppliers.
Communicate information and instructions with customers, vendors and overseas especially to Mexico.
Inform management and staff of progress and requirements of the department.
Arrange and confirm customs clearance for shipments and ensure shipments are delivered to the customer.
Maintain files for SEDs(EEIs).
Manage costs versus sales using excel and create invoice using Navision system (accounting system).
Operate using IES system (forwarding system).
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience a must
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
