Job Title: Level II Technician (tractor)

Primary Position Objective: Complete assigned inspection and repair of heavy-duty equipment to include preventative and nonscheduled maintenance, completed within industry standard times. Duties are but not limited to the following:
o Conduct vehicle preventative maintenance as required
o Conduct equipment safety inspections
o Grease vehicle grease fittings
o Replace components as required
o Basic Troubleshooting
o Inspect and replace air compressor
o Inspect and replace air conditioning components
o Inspect and repair air suspension
o Inspect and replace cranking and charging systems
o Inspect and replace clutches
o Inspect and replace engine accessories
o Inspect equipment frame
o Inspect and replace radiators
o Conduct tandem alignments
o Inspect and replace brake systems
o Inspect and repair kingpins and linkage
o Conduct welding as required
o Account for all labor time with electric time keeping
o Account for parts consumed on proper repair order line 100% time.
o Conduct physical inventory to include reconciliation
o Account for 100% of warranty activity
o Conduct Mobile Maintenance as required
o Insert comments to work order lines where appropriate
o Administer and Complete Daily Rental Forms per company policy
o Any other activities as required by manager.

Must be able to capable enter data into the Enrich maintenance system
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
o Must have CDL Class A Driver's License (if eligible) with acceptable MVR history, or actively in process of pursuing a CDL
o ASE - Preventive Maintenance Certificate,
o ASE - Brakes renewed as needed
o ASE - Suspension and Steering renewed as needed

o Reliable transportation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
