Plant Engineering Manager Location:
Sidney, OH Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions.

, and International Automotive Components (IAC) Group, Auria is built on a 150-year transportation industry heritage.
Our product line includes highly engineered acoustical solutions for interior noise reduction, textile-based and compression-molded flooring products and other interior soft trim products, including package trays, trunk trim and wheel arch liners.
Auria operates 18 manufacturing and 10 commercial, engineering and testing and tooling facilities in 11 countries and has nearly 5,000 employees worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated project management and hands on people management skills to ensure the success of not only our plant but their team.
POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS (PSR):
Protect AURIA's and customer assets from loss or damage.
Ensure RFQ, ECN, CPOD, PLM/AS400, QAD, CDR, and Prolink deliverables are being completed timely.
Create a work environment that drives continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Research new technologies to improve production performance.
Maintain tooling / equipment standards for the plant.
Supervise technical support to manufacturing to ensure all tools, equipment, and processes are meeting requirements.
Supervise support to PDT teams on manufacturing feasibility, cost, safety, and product design.
Ensure contractors under engineering direction are following AURIA safety policies and procedures Support new product launches with process development, dimensional analysis, operator instructions and other technical information as required.
Provide technical support to resolve customer quality issues Provide technical assistance necessary to prevent any potential delivery issues.
Provide technical support to resolve delivery interruptions Provide detailed information for quoting new business and or engineering changes including capital, start-up costs and labor when required.
Provide capital project plan and forecast for budgeting process.
Manage capital jobs for cost and timing.
Create and or review all PAR's.
All PAR's should have a signed off capital reuse check list from the corporate manufacturing engineering group.
Review and plan process improvement activities for potential cost improvements.
Develop goals and targets for the engineering team.
Participate in the manufacturing assessment and drive improvements.
Education:
BS/BA Degree in related field MS/MBA preferred
Experience:
Requires 5-10 years
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership, oral and written communication skills Manufacturing and operational knowledge Proven technical competence in multiple major subsystems Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including MS Project Experience in systems and terminology Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$85,714.
00 - $120,000.
